The Nigerian army was formed to served various purposes in the past, including protecting Colonial interests as well as served actively on the homeland during the various military regimes of the past.
Nonetheless Nigeria is one of few countries where Soldiers are like mini kings and can on a normal day punish Civilians and sometimes use their guns on Civilians in peace times.
What are your opinions on this. We will treat the matter of the police on another thread.
